बंदी सिंहों की रिहाई की मांग को लेकर आज पूरे पंजाब में विभिन्न किसान संगठनों द्वारा सरकार के खिलाफ रोष प्रदर्शन का एलान किया गया था। इस दौरान सुबह 11 बजे से शाम 4 बजे तक टोल प्लाजा फ्री करने का कार्यक्रम तय किया गया था। लुधियाना में काैमी इंसाफ मोर्चा ने लाडोवाल टोल फ्री करवाया।
मोगा में लुधियाना-फिरोजपुर रोड स्थित दारापुर टोल प्लाजा तथा मोगा-जालंधर रोड पर कामालके टोल प्लाजा पर किसानों द्वारा धरना दिया जाना था। किसान जब दारापुर टोल प्लाजा पर धरना देने पहुंचे, तो धरना शुरू होने से पहले ही पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए सभी किसानों को हिरासत में ले लिया।
